I say this every year, but this school year flew by! It seems like I was just greeting your kiddos for the first time and now I am getting ready to say goodbye and send them on to be big first graders! This has truly been a special year and I have loved having each and every kiddo in our class. Each child brought something special to the group and will be missed so much! I want to thank all of the families for being so wonderful to work with and supportive. It takes a village to raise a child and the best thing we can do for these kids is work together. It was a joy working with all of you. I am sad to see the kids move on, but excited for all they have in store for them! Please enjoy your summer and come back to visit in the fall!
As the school year winds down, we have been doing lots of fun end of the year activities. Children have gone on scavenger hunts with their buddies, read their book boxes outside, and cleaned the tables with shaving cream. This is always a favorite thing for kiddos to do- because they can get messy- while helping to clean our tables at the same time! We ahd fun drawing and writing words in the shaving cream. Our tables look sparkling clean now too!
